A Kingston winter is a long one. We plan for that.
Snowaway clears snow in Kingston, Ontario. Driveways, walkways, sidewalks and commercial lots, for people who would rather not spend the first hour of a snowy morning behind a shovel.
The service is built around one idea: you should not have to call. Once accumulation reaches 5cm, your property is on the route. We are usually out right after the snowfall ends, and when a storm keeps going we come back and clear it a second time rather than leaving you to wait it out.
We stick to two areas on purpose: Cataraqui and downtown Kingston. Shorter routes mean we can actually get back to a driveway a second time during a bad storm, instead of still working through the first pass when the next one hits.
Salting is available on any property, residential or commercial, and gets applied after the snow is off the surface rather than mixed into it. Everything else, including return visits during heavy snowfall, is part of the seasonal contract.
